We are exclusive dealers of Pilis Laser Hair Removal

The Pilis Led Laser hair removal treatment is a "permanent progressive hair removal procedure" or also known as "permanent hair regrowth delay" (FDA definition) whose results may not be definitive but are nevertheless permanent over time.

What is LED Laser

Laser LED Pilis is a patented, cutting-edge technology produced in Europe that can penetrate deeply and effectively into the dermis. It targets only the hair's germinal cells, without affecting the surrounding tissue.

It is extremely effective on hair, yet remains very gentle on the skin. The LED laser beam selectively targets the melanin in the hair bulb, the pigment responsible for hair color, without damaging the surrounding skin tissue. For this reason, it can be used on all skin types and in any season. Furthermore, the automatic customization of operating parameters allows the treatment power to be adapted to each individual client, ensuring maximum results and operating in complete safety without the risk of burns.

Compared to other permanent hair removal technologies, Laser LED Pilis features more sophisticated software: the LED beam not only uses the 808nm wavelength characteristic of the older diode laser, but a range of wavelengths selective for the melanin chromophore, even in the deepest and most hormonal hair follicles. This ensures a greater chance of targeting all unwanted hair and rendering it inactive.

Complete hair removal of a specific area is achieved through multiple sessions, which vary depending on hair type and the area of the body being treated. It is not possible, with any type of laser technology (and even less so with earlier techniques), to determine in advance the exact number of sessions, treatment duration, or the precise quality of the final result. Based on statistical data, it has been established that at least 12 sessions are required, scheduled monthly for the initial treatments, after which the final sessions are spaced at longer intervals, always within a total timeframe of 18 months. Hair growth in the human body follows endocrine dynamics, meaning it is linked to each individual’s personal hormone production. In every individual, it is not possible to control these dynamics from an aesthetic standpoint. The results achievable with this treatment are not definitive but long-lasting over time. Laser LED hair removal should therefore be considered a “permanent progressive hair removal procedure” or a “permanent hair growth delay” (FDA definition). After the first treatment, an average hair reduction of 20–40% can be expected, increasing to an estimated growth delay of around 80% after 5–6 treatments. The optimal interval between treatments is two weeks for facial areas during the initial sessions, gradually extending to four weeks in the final sessions. For body treatments, the recommended interval is 28–30 days during the early sessions, then progressively extended based on the results achieved. During the course of the treatments, hair density will decrease and regrowth will become increasingly slower. If the client requests shorter or longer intervals between sessions, it is important to clarify that a significant number of hairs may not be in the anagen phase, and therefore the results may not be equally effective.

After the 12-session cycle, it is advisable to have at least a couple of maintenance sessions per year to maintain the effects over time, otherwise growth will resume over the years.

The energy required to achieve the result is lower than with other permanent hair removal technologies, making the treatment less painful and more comfortable.

Control session and correction plan

Towards the end of the course, we will evaluate whether the objectives have been achieved or, if necessary, we will plan 2/3 additional sessions, entirely at our expense.

What to do before the laser session

It is reiterated that the effectiveness of the treatment is determined by strict compliance with the following rules:

The variables that can make the treatment longer or only partially effective are:

Contraindications

Laser treatment cannot be performed in the presence of:

Side effects

Side effects can appear even a few days after the procedure. The risk of side effects is higher in people with darker skin, but they are also possible in those with fair skin.
