We are exclusive dealers of Pilis Laser Hair Removal
The Pilis Led Laser hair removal treatment is a "permanent progressive hair removal procedure" or also known as "permanent hair regrowth delay" (FDA definition) whose results may not be definitive but are nevertheless permanent over time.
What is LED Laser
Laser LED Pilis is a patented, cutting-edge technology produced in Europe that can penetrate deeply and effectively into the dermis. It targets only the hair's germinal cells, without affecting the surrounding tissue.
- Safety
It is extremely effective on hair, yet remains very gentle on the skin. The LED laser beam selectively targets the melanin in the hair bulb, the pigment responsible for hair color, without damaging the surrounding skin tissue. For this reason, it can be used on all skin types and in any season. Furthermore, the automatic customization of operating parameters allows the treatment power to be adapted to each individual client, ensuring maximum results and operating in complete safety without the risk of burns.
- Effectiveness
Compared to other permanent hair removal technologies, Laser LED Pilis features more sophisticated software: the LED beam not only uses the 808nm wavelength characteristic of the older diode laser, but a range of wavelengths selective for the melanin chromophore, even in the deepest and most hormonal hair follicles. This ensures a greater chance of targeting all unwanted hair and rendering it inactive.
- Results
Complete hair removal of a specific area is achieved through multiple sessions, which vary depending on hair type and the area of the body being treated. It is not possible, with any type of laser technology (and even less so with earlier techniques), to determine in advance the exact number of sessions, treatment duration, or the precise quality of the final result. Based on statistical data, it has been established that at least 12 sessions are required, scheduled monthly for the initial treatments, after which the final sessions are spaced at longer intervals, always within a total timeframe of 18 months. Hair growth in the human body follows endocrine dynamics, meaning it is linked to each individual’s personal hormone production. In every individual, it is not possible to control these dynamics from an aesthetic standpoint. The results achievable with this treatment are not definitive but long-lasting over time. Laser LED hair removal should therefore be considered a “permanent progressive hair removal procedure” or a “permanent hair growth delay” (FDA definition). After the first treatment, an average hair reduction of 20–40% can be expected, increasing to an estimated growth delay of around 80% after 5–6 treatments. The optimal interval between treatments is two weeks for facial areas during the initial sessions, gradually extending to four weeks in the final sessions. For body treatments, the recommended interval is 28–30 days during the early sessions, then progressively extended based on the results achieved. During the course of the treatments, hair density will decrease and regrowth will become increasingly slower. If the client requests shorter or longer intervals between sessions, it is important to clarify that a significant number of hairs may not be in the anagen phase, and therefore the results may not be equally effective.
After the 12-session cycle, it is advisable to have at least a couple of maintenance sessions per year to maintain the effects over time, otherwise growth will resume over the years.

- Less Pain
The energy required to achieve the result is lower than with other permanent hair removal technologies, making the treatment less painful and more comfortable.

Control session and correction plan
Towards the end of the course, we will evaluate whether the objectives have been achieved or, if necessary, we will plan 2/3 additional sessions, entirely at our expense.
What to do before the laser session
It is reiterated that the effectiveness of the treatment is determined by strict compliance with the following rules:
- Two weeks before the treatment, you must begin to prepare the skin in the areas to be treated with a scrub or brushing and then apply our "restructuring" cream.
- One week before the laser session, you must stop scrubbing and applying any products to the skin.
- The day before the session, use the razor on the areas to be treated.
What to do after the laser session
- Remember not to expose yourself directly to the sun either the two days before or the two days after the sessions;
- Always use (even in the city) a 50+ sunscreen for the face and a 30+ sunscreen for the body, on all treated areas;
- Avoid the following in the days following the session: swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and sun lamps.
- Remember to resume applying the restructuring cream at least 5 days after the session to hydrate the skin;
- Use a soothing cream with active ingredients with an emollient action from the day after treatment ONLY in case of pain and irritation;
Warnings
- If you expose yourself to the sun, or use tanning lamps, in the 2/3 days before, call us, we will have to postpone the session;
- Do not apply any type of cosmetic or perfume to the area to be treated the day before and the day after the session, to avoid microscopic burns on the skin;
- Do not perform chemical peels during the entire LED process;
- If you use photosensitive medications, cortisone, antibiotics, etc. in the 30 days prior to your session, please notify us; we must postpone the session. Avoid using them in the days following the session as well.
- Clients with a history of blisters require prophylactic treatment before starting the laser treatment. In this case, medical approval is required.
- In case of pregnancy we must suspend the treatment and then resume it later;
- Waxing is strictly prohibited during the entire laser hair removal treatment. If necessary, use a razor;
- During the entire laser hair removal treatment, if necessary, use only the razor;
To know that:
- Satisfactory results are not achieved on white, blond and red hair;
- The treatment achieves better results on dark and medium-dark colored hair (with sufficient melanin component), both fine and double;
- If you have moles, freckles, or freckles near the hairs to be treated, don't worry, the operator will take care of shielding them;
- It is not possible to perform treatment on tattooed areas, therefore, if present, the operator will take care of shielding them;
- The operator will ask you to wear protective glasses during the treatment for safety reasons;
- To maintain the effectiveness of the treatment over time, remember that, at least two or three times a year (depending on the initial hair intensity), it is necessary to have booster sessions;
The variables that can make the treatment longer or only partially effective are:
- Treatments stopped early or not constant;
- Intense hair density;
- Short or long session intervals (short or long periods between sessions);
- In case of intense hair density, an additional 2/3 sessions will be granted in addition to the 12-session package at the operator's discretion;
- In the event of termination of pregnancy, use of photosensitive drugs, or antibiotics during treatment, an additional 2-3 sessions will be granted in addition to the 12-session program, at the operator's discretion if necessary during the final check-up.
Contraindications
Laser treatment cannot be performed in the presence of:
- Cancer, especially skin cancers
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (exclusively for reasons of altered skin sensitivity)
- Prolonged and continuous exposure to the sun for 3-4 weeks before treatment
- Presence in the treatment area of active inflammatory infections or herpes simplex, eczema, blisters, etc.
- History of keloids
- Excessively dry and sensitive skin
- Diabetes: in these cases, the consent of the attending physician is required
- Use of anticoagulants. Risk of spotting or reduced treatment efficacy if using: anticoagulants (heparin and similar), due to the possible risk of transient hematomas; photosensitizing drugs; certain antibiotics; antidiabetic drugs; antirheumatics; antiacne drugs; antidepressants; NSAIDs; sulfonamides; antihistamines; antifungals; antimalarials; and birth control pills. In these cases, the consent of your doctor is required.
- Epileptic disorders
Side effects
- Moderate epidermal burns on limited areas, for a few days following the session;
- Transient erythema;
- Modest and limited hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation;
- After treatment, redness and mild skin irritation may appear on the treated area;
- Redness which should disappear 2-3 days after treatment.
Side effects can appear even a few days after the procedure. The risk of side effects is higher in people with darker skin, but they are also possible in those with fair skin.
